TAG (Trustworthy Accountability Group)
The Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) promotes transparency within the digital ad industry, while supporting innovation. TAG focuses on four core areas: Eliminating fraudulent digital advertising traffic, combating malware, fighting ad-supported Internet piracy and promoting brand safety through greater transparency. The TAG program was created by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and works collaboratively with companies throughout the digital ad supply chain.
The TAG Inventory Quality Guidelines (IQG) program is an industry-backed brand safety and transparency compliance program. The goals of the IQG program are: Support the information needs of advertising buyers; define a common framework of disclosures that sellers can use across the industry; offer clear language in the IQG disclosure framework that enables buyers to make informed decisions; and review compliance among IQG-certified companies and facilitate the resolution of disputes and complaints. It helps establish trust between buyers and sellers in the dynamic digital advertising space.
